Eames no MAAT

The World of Charles and Ray Eames_BarbicanDaqui a 1 ano já ninguém perguntará “o que é o MAAT“, o Museu de Arte, Arquitetura e Tecnologia que toma forma sob o desenho de Amanda Levete ao lado da Central Eléctrica à beira do Tejo, em Lisboa, e cuja direcção ficará a cargo de Pedro Gadanho, que abandona o MoMA para voltar a Lisboa.
A partir de Junho começará uma programação que junta a ciência à criatividade, onde poderemos ver a exposição que ainda decorre no Barbican Centre: The World of Charles and Ray Eames, uma extensa mostra do seu trabalho em objectos acabados, experiências, filmes e objectos pessoais.
Boas notícias para os design victims.

In one year no one will ask “what is MAAT”, the Museu de Arte, Arquitetura e Tecnologia (Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology) that takes shape under Amanda Levete‘s project, adjacent to the Central Electrica, by the Tagus river in Lisbon, and whose direction will be at the charge of Pedro Gadanho, that leaves MoMA to return to Lisbon.
From June will begin a program that combines science with creativity and where we will see the exhibition still ongoing at the Barbican Centre: The World of Charles and Ray Eames, an extensive show of their work from finished objects, experiences, movies and personal objects.
Good news for the design victims.
